Flipped Learning

An exciting innovation in education - flipped learning - provides us with a new model in education.

  • We know students learn best when they are multisensory learners engaged in complex cognition - discussing, debating, innovating and co-creating - in multi-dimensional ways - in and out of the classroom.
  • We also know that students learn in their own ways and timeframes.  The idea of seamlessly engaging with instruction - synchronously and asynchronously - across all learning environments poses students a tremendous opportunity to maximize learning.
  • Likewise, the idea of teachers as facilitators of creativity, collaboration and problem-solving is - exactly - the art and science of teaching.
I am inspired.  This is learning come to life.
